When we hear the word tent, we automatically think of camping. Camping is always fun especially when we are with our family and friends. And it gets even better if we do it on the beach. Just imagine lounging in our beach tents while watching the sun set. Now that’s a perfect beach scene! However, we must remember that to make any event fun and successful, adequate planning should be done.
We always want to take the comforts of our home when we go on vacation or trips. Sleeping on beach tents are not as comfortable and cozy as sleeping in our beds. However, there are various designs of tents that will make us feel closer to our home. Tents act as our beach shelter as they consist of fabric or cloth that drapes over a frame of poles and form like a hut. It is important that we determine the right type of beach tent to take with us to make sure that we will have a fun time on our trip.
[singlepic id=34 w=320 h=240 float=left]A pop up beach tent is designed to have a framework that springs into shape once it is removed from its case. This is very easy to set up and is perfect for people who do not want to have trouble with poles and canopies. It’s also portable because of its light weight. Pop up tents are also known as portable canopies.
There are also tents that are made of water resistant material that prevents the water to soak through the fabric. These fabrics are coated with waterproofing substances such as polyurethane, silicone elastomer , polyvinyl chloride, etc. The tent is very useful outdoors because we need not worry about the rain. There are also tents that are made of both water and fire proofing materials.
Beach tents consist of full and half walls and a roof. This is usually the common style of portable tents. An additional border drapery, or better known as the valance, can also be added to the tent. This is available in different colors to compliment our tents. We should also check the denier or the density of fibers in the fabrics used to make our tents. This will give us an idea on how long our beach tents will last.
If we plan on taking our babies with us to the beach, we should also pack up their baby beach tent. Along with that we should pack their sun hat and some insect repellant. It is more convenient to bring bottle liners than the actual bottles because you do not need to sterilize them. We should also bring a first aid kit to be ready for any baby emergency. It will also help if we take note of the fact that babies burn in about ten to fifteen minutes, so we should also apply a high factor sunscreen on them.
Some things to consider in choosing our beach tent are its portability, the materials used for the tent and most importantly, its durability. The beach tent should be able to feign off the rain, sand or the harmful rays of the sun. It is a plus if it’s easy to pack and set up. It rids us the hassle of packing numerous beach bags to take with us to the beach. We must also consider if it can withstand extreme weather conditions and it should not create a problem for other people in the beach.
Our beach tent should be an added factor of fun to our trip. That is why it’s very important that our beach tent will protect us from various weather conditions when we are outdoors. It is also an imperative that we can enjoy our privacy when we are at the beach. The tent should protect us from the prying eyes of other beach goers.
